    Pilates is a tried and tested form of exercise that is designed to improve ‘function’ via increasing strength, flexibility, endurance and coordination. An unstable ‘core’ (lower back, abdominals and pelvis muscles) contributes to an increased risk of injury. Clinical Pilates at Active Physiotherapy Mackay is delivered by a qualified physiotherapist who is able to tailor a routine to individual needs and future goals.
